Highland Park 1995 27 Years Old, Connoisseurs Choice, 59% abv

Sweet peat, sherry, soft fruit and flowers on the nose. Sweet dry peaty mouthfeel. Sherry, dry floral peat, easy drinking, gentle sweet white pepper notes, some cinnamon and sweet spices on the palate. Very pleasant sherry, smoke and floral notes on a medium finish.

Speyside Drumguish Single Malt, 40% abv

Vanilla, rich floral aromas, fresh, honey, sweet earthiness on the nose. Pleasant, firm mouthfeel. Dry flowers, smooth, light caramel notes, honey vanilla, soft spices then earthy with light smoke and mild honeyed peat on the palate. Fascinating. Gentle caramel and smoke on a medium finish.

Bruichladdich 2011, 12 Years Old The Whisky Explorer, 60.1% abv

Rich, brown sugar, vanilla, floral, dry light caramel and pineapple on the nose. Brine dry spices mouthfeel. Rich spicy caramel, lovely toastiness, sweet spices, very light peat on the palate. Touch of caramel and dry toast on a medium long finish.

Inchgower Premier Barrel, 8 Years Old, Douglas Laing, 46% abv

Juicy fruit bubble gum, pine trees, sweet calvados, new make spirit and apples on the nose. Pears creamy mouthfeel. Buttery creams, pears, citrus, apples and light sweet ginger on the palate. Easy drinking. Soft, fruity, pears and apples on a medium finish.

Springbank Society 20 Years Old, Fresh Port, 55.7% abv

Absolutely luscious sherry/port notes, red fruit jam then orange marmalade on the nose. Rich sweet fruity sherried mouthfeel. More oranges, sherry/port, superb rich fruit and spices on the palate. Lovely sherry/port with rich fruit notes on a long finish.

Very rich, lovely heavy thick fruit aromas with sherry/port citrus on the nose. Luscious soft citrus mouthfeel. Port, caramel and delightful spices on the palate. Amazing rich port and caramel notes with spices on a superb long finish.
