About WhiskyScores
I have been a whisky enthusiast since 2002 and began taking notes and assigning scores to whiskies in 2009. It was a way for me to focus on the aromas and flavours and remember what I liked and why. The Scoring Guidelines were developed in 2011 to provide an easy way for me to assign scores and ensure consistency.
You should know that whisky festivals are a passion of mine. Festivals I love include the Isla Malt & Music Festival, the Spirit of Speyside Festival, Whisky Live, Spirit of Toronto, Raise Your Spirits Fredericton New Brunswick Festival, the Whisky Ottawa Festival, The Wonderful World of Whisky Show in Cornwall and the Victoria Whisky Festival.
So what is WhiskyScores? It is a database of the whiskies I have scored since 2009. You are invited to add a comment on any of the whiskies should you so wish. You can also follow me on Twitter @WhiskyScores.
