SMWS 53.244 Vanilla Chimney Stacks, 7 Years Old, 58.8% abv

Honeyed dulce, soft sweet peat and dried flowers on the nose. Smooth spicy mouthfeel. Sweet tar, honey, fish market sensation, vanilla, ashes, sweet peat and a hint of banana on the palate. Very sweet honeyed peat on a medium finish. (A bit too sweet?)

Spicy almonds and dry marzipan on the nose. Lively prickly mouthfeel. Prickliness settles down quickly into a fulsome sweet robust dram with a luscious sensation honey, sweet vanilla and spices on the palate. Honey and vanilla on a medium finish.

Amazing red berry aromas, subtle nuttiness, vanilla, honey and spices on the nose. Rich mouthfeel. Soft, luscious red wine notes emerge followed by raspberries and honey on the palate. Delightful red fruit and soft rich tannins on a medium long finish.

Lovely cocoa and oranges greet the nose followed by honey and apples. Velvety mouthfeel. Amazing richness, toffee, cinnamon, oranges cocoa moving to a rich chocolate pudding with mild spices on the palate. Silky smooth rich fruit and citrus on a long finish.

Sweet peat, vanilla, honey and smoked tropical fruit on the nose. Sweet peaty mouthfeel. The peat notes are well supported by the honey and citrus notes with dulce and fruit undertones on the palate. Honey, citrus and peat on a medium finish.

Sherry, almonds, leather, molasses and oak aromas on the nose. Lively fulsome mouthfeel. Spices, pepper notes, oaky, honey, sherry, sweet tannins, toffee, mild smoke, very very light peat with a delightful robustness on the palate. Rich fulsome sherry and honey on a medium finish.

Lovely flowers, vanilla, honey with a hint of pineapple on the nose. Rich fulsome mouthfeel. Honey, lovely spice notes then flowers emerge with some white fruit and a hint of mild white pepper on the palate. Delightful fruit and honey on a medium finish.

Sherry, warm butterscotch syrup and dark fruit on the nose. Rich soft mouthfeel. Red fruit, raisins, sweet sherry, gentle spices and lovely soft sweetness on the palate. Smooth and fulsome. Not complex. Medium finish.
