A relatively new peated version the Tomatin line. The peat obviously shows. Honey, coffee, orange peel and pepper with a long smoky finish. At $59 (Alberta), an excellent candidate for the "poor man's Lagavulin.

Rich sweet toasted grain notes on the nose. Soft sweet grain, corn and rye?, on the palate. Gentle firm spices on the palate.

Sweet solvent cereal notes on the nose. Soft rye and bourbon notes on the palate. Lovely sweet finish.

Smooth rich smoky vanilla and caramel noted on the nose. Lovely soft tingling bourbon barrel tang - notes of vanilla and caramel emerge from behind the tang. Love it.

Light, grassy with spice notes on the nose. Soft creamy texture in the mouth. Touch of soap on the finish. (Maybe I was having an off sensory appreciation moment here.)
