Glenrothes 12 Years Old, 40% abv

Sherry, caramel, stewed oranges, red fruit, honey, vanilla, spices and mild saltiness on the nose. Wee tang on a thin mouthfeel. Soft round fruit then bittersweet citrus and spices on the palate. Medium short thin finish.

Rich honey, sweet melon and caramel, ripe tropical fruit on the nose. Soft, smooth fruity cinnamon, gentle sweet sherry on the palate. Lovely spices and caramel on a medium finish.

Vanilla, dry flowers with a minor hint of soft floral soap (not terribly unpleasant) on the nose . Sweet dry floral notes dominate the palate. Short finish.This is a simple two dimensional dram.
