This Single Malt is distilled by Ardbeg in Islay.

Tasting notes:

Dry sweet peat, oak, cedar, smoked fruit and lovely earthy aromas on the nose. Smoked sherry mouthfeel. Lovely sherry, fruit soaked in a honey peat sauce, smooth citrus notes, ginger, sweet tar and black licorice on the palate. Peat, smoked meat on a medium long finish.

Lovely fruity peat, smoked sausages, vanilla, smoked BBQ ribs on the nose. Smoked peaty fruit mouthfeel. Tobacco, coffee, dry peat then smoked sausages emerge on the palate. Gentle peat, smoked meat with a honey glaze on a medium long finish.

Lovely warm fruit compote, sweet peat and lemons on the nose. Luscious sweet peaty mouthfeel. Soft, sweet tar bonbons, oranges, menthol, rich peat, seaweed and spices on the palate. Delightful soft peaty tang on a gentle long finish.

Sweet biscuity peat and tar, tropical fruit on the nose. Rich tangy peaty anise mouthfeel. Sweet phenolic seaweed,, spices, rich peaty vanilla shortbreads, tangy fruit and anise on the palate. Tar, spices and honey on a medium long finish.

Caramel, peat, campfire, oily, red fruit, sherry, sweet tar and nutty on the nose. Lovely smoke spicy mouthfeel. Peppery, sea salt, sweet intense smoke, coffee and dark fruit on the palate. Coffee and smoke linger on a medium long finish.

Sweet peat moss, sea breeze, briney creosote and oak chips on the nose. Gentle light peaty mouthfeel. Soft smoky peat, vanilla, gentle tar and fruit on the palate. Delightful light tarry notes. Soft gentle tar on a medium finish. Sorry to this one go. Purchased at the Distillery in 2009.

Biscuity tar, soft fruit, herbal and grass aromas the medicinal on the nose. Lovely tart tangy sweet tar notes dominate the palate. Medium long tarry sooty finish.

Sweet fruity peat, tar aromas with shortbread and biscuit notes on the nose. Soft, luscious tangy fruit laden peat then lovely soft sweet medicinal notes on the palate. Gentle sweet fruit on a long campfire finish.
