80Lot No 40 Cask Strength, 55% abv
Rye bread dominates followed by spices, wintergreen and then caramel on the nose. Rye continues to dominate the palate with spearmint dark fruit and a lovely sweetness. The 55% abv does not overwhelm although a drop or two of water does open it up and soften the finish.
