Tasting notes:
Sweet sherry, burnt caramel with fruit notes on the nose. Gentle sweet sherry butter on the palate. Wee smoke and peat on the finish.
Glenfarclas 15 Years Old, 46% abv
Sherry almonds, light sweet spices, floral aromas and orange peel on the nose. Round gentle spices mouthfeel. Mild ginger, sherry, bittersweet oranges, vanilla and honey on the palate. Well-rounded spices and fruit on a medium finish.

Warm spices, nuts and sherry with a touch of tang on the nose. You know immediately that this whisky has presence. It is solid. Grasses, spices and the chewy mouthfeel make for a well balanced bordering on robust dram.
