Moonbroch 2010 8 Years Old, Matured in a Sherry PX Butt, 52.9% abv

Raisins, peat, caramel and more peat on the nose. Sweet mouthfeel. Very sweet peat, raisins, dates, caramel and gentle spices on the palate. Medium finish has spices and peat that is too sweet.

Light sherry, sweet peat, hint of mint and floral aromas on the nose. Sherry vanilla mouthfeel. Light zestiness, sherrry and dry peat on the palate. SIMPLE but very good. Dry peat and sherry and peat on a medium long finish.
