Dark fruit, dry, walnuts, sherry, caramel, spicy vanilla and coffee on the nose. Fulsome sherry mouthfeel. Sweet nutty, dry sherry, dark fruit and coffee on the palate. Rich intense sherry and fruit on a medium finish. Great V4$

Rich caramel, gentle fruity sherry, toffee, vanilla and butterscotch on the nose. Thick intense caramel mouthfeel. Wholesome dark fruit, soft tingling spices and sherry notes on the palate. Wholesome dark fruit and soft sherry on a medium finish.

Rich caramel, raisins, red fruit, dusty dry spices, bittersweet oranges, vanilla and sherry aromas on the nose. Tangy mouthfeel, sweet fruity notes, almonds and more sherry on the palate. Long rich, lightly spiced heavy fruit filled finish.

Rich fruit, spices, sweet cocoa on the nose. Honey, bitter orange marmalade on the palate. Robust and well balanced. Love it.

Black Bull 12 Years Old, 50% abv

Rich almond grassy notes on the nose - in a very powerful in your face kind of way. Mouthfeel is surprising for 50% abv. It has a soft velvety texture with dominant spices, particulalrly ginger towards the end. The finish has an adgy bitterness to it. Not unpleasant mind you. Not surprising it has won so many awards. at 50%, it is in the heavyweight class for sure.
