Laphroaig 30 Years Old Bottled November 1997, 43% abv

Rich, soft fruit laden with mild peat, gentle smoky caramel with sweet sherry and oakum on the nose. Amazing fulsome smoky peaty mouthfeel. Luscious sweet toasted red fruit, light smoke, mild peat and light toffee smoke on the palate. Soft fruit and light peat on a long finish.

Highland Park Saxo Single Cask 15 Years Old Juul’s Exclusive, 59.8% abv

Soft raisins, oranges, rich warm Christmas cake on the nose. Smooth mouthfeel, stewed sweet red fruit compote in light sherry sauce, mild spices, wee citrus note then floral on the palate. Lovely luscious soft fruit and spices on a long finish.

Caramel, almonds, rich sherry aromas and heavenly butterscotch on the nose. Luscious rich round mouthfeel. Soft citrus notes, toffee then a hint of smoke on the palate. Rich caramel, almonds on a lovely long smooth finish. WOW!

Chocolate, cinnamon, rum, spicy Christmas pudding with sherry flambé on the nose. Rich coffee and caramel mouthfeel. Absolutely luscious dark fruit, sweet sherry, figs, plums, gentle ginger and cocoa on the palate. Rich round sherry on a medium long finish.

Light fruit, rich peat followed by gentle pine forest aromas on the nose. Warm round mouthfeel. Soft, fruity spices, light luscious peat notes, mild plums and figs on the palate. Hint of sweet peat and fruit on a warm long luscious finish.

Luscious red fruit, light sherry and red wine perfume on the nose. Sweet candied lemons, fruity vanilla with delicate notes of sherry and red berries on the palate. Very well balanced. Light citrus, sherry and red fruit on a long gentle lingering finish. WOW!

Fruity tar, sweet peat, vanilla, tropical fruit and almonds on the nose. Sweet tingling peaty mouthfeel. Tangy pineapple, rich peat, spicy then mild honey on the palate. Lovely soft peat, fruit and spices on a medium long finish.

Macerated red fruit, cigar smoke and sweet fruity peat on the nose. Red berries in a delightful sweet peaty sauce followed by ever present soft smoke notes on the palate. Sweet gentle peat on a medium long finish. Simple amazing.
