Nectar of the gods - it is that simple. Light smoke on the nose - soft and gentle, almost caressing. Gentle with a hint of peated toast on the palate. Lovely light smoke and peat finish.

93Glenglassaugh 36 Years Old Single Cask, 43% abv
Had the privilege of tasting this at the distillery during the Speyside festival. A single cask, it was bottled at natural cask strength, 43%. It was aged in a sherry refill cask and finished off for 22 months in a Sauternes cask. Lovely, light fruit aromas with a hint of corn great you. The fruit continues on the palate like a delicate compote that simply stays with you, introducing towards the end a hint of spice. The finish is long, soft and fruity. A WOW dram.
