This Single Malt is distilled by Tomatin in Highlands.
Tasting notes:
Sherry, lemons, buckwheat honey and anise on the nose. Peppery sherry mouthfeel. Fruitcake, raisins, cinnamon, spices, tobacco and edgy dry fruit on the palate. Peppery sherry on a medium dry short finish.
Tomatin Contrast Sherry Matured 1973-1977-1988-1991-2006, 46% abv
Caramel, cinnamon, ginger, raisins, red fruit and toffee on the nose. Rich spicy mouthfeel. Sweet sherry notes, mild tannins, caramel syrup on the palate. Spicy red fruit and tannins on a medium finish.
