This Blended Whisky is distilled by Dunedin in New Zealand.
Tasting notes:
Sweet raisins in a bourbon custard on the nose. Light sweet creamy vanilla on the palate. Lacking in balance to my taste with a hint of soap on the finish.
New Zealand Doublewood 10 Years Old, 40% abv
Astringent, edgy with an unpleasant sharp finish. Some redeeming features of vanilla, fennel and Belgian endive (or quinine)? But, all told, a desperation dram.

Sweet red grapes with light spices on the nose. Fruit sugars, tannins and a fresh mouthfeel. Wee hint of soap, dried fruit on finish.
