Tasting notes:
My father-in law's regular non-celebratory scotch, which I never really warmed to, but I thought I should give it a re-taste after all these years. Smokey, bitter molasses. Syrupy. Long aromatic finish. I hadn't tasted it for over 40 years, but I haven't changed my mind.
Moist floral aromas, fruit and some cereal notes on the nose. Gentle smooth mouthfeel. Light floral notes with a wee bit of spices on the palate. Nice mix of fruity floral notes on a medium finish.

74Wee fruit, woody, light solvent on the nose. Awkward balance, sharp pepper on the palate. Short finish.
