Teacher's Highland Cream, 40% abv
Starts with a light floral nose - very pleasant; then moves into rough and tangy territory - hard to get to the fruit which seems to be hiding behind the rough exterior (where is the delightful Ardmore?); tangy throughout. Maybe I was in a bad mood, although I don't think so. This has moved in my opinion from a pleasant dram to a barely okay and almost "desperation" dram.

Soft peat and smoke followed by fresh fruit on nose; lovely soft sweet peat on palate with touch of licorice following; sweet smokey and soft peaty finish. An excellent dram to introduce a novice to peated whiskies. And, an excellent value at $44 CDN for one litre at Duty Free shops/airlines.
