Butterscotch dominates then menthol notes appear. Peppery bite with sweet spices on the palate. Complex rich syrup finish. Great V4$ at $29.

Dry corn stalks, earthy with sweet undertones on the nose. Hint of spice, almonds and solventy herbs. Tangy finish with an edge.

Fruit medley with undertones of smoke on the nose - almost jammy. Beach bonfire dessert. Lovely intro to the world of peated whiskies. Good V4$.

Light smoke with tea notes as well as a wee pleasant sulphur note. Lovely sherry notes followed by fruit on the palate. Chewy ginger mouthfeel.

Astringent, edgy with an unpleasant sharp finish. Some redeeming features of vanilla, fennel and Belgian endive (or quinine)? But, all told, a desperation dram.

Sweet raisins in a bourbon custard on the nose. Light sweet creamy vanilla on the palate. Lacking in balance to my taste with a hint of soap on the finish.
