Mild vanilla, oranges and a wee treacle on the nose. Heart warming light vanilla on the palate. Medium light finish.

Hedgehog Straight Whisky Bourbonnais, 45% abv

Fresh hay and floral aromas on the nose. Rich oily rye spices on the palate. A light bourbon style finish. A wonderfully pleasant French bourbon surprise.

Dry sweet citrus on the nose. Short simple dry finish. Interesting but simply GOOD.

Creamy then edgy fruit aromas on the nose. Floral, vanilla and almonds on the palate. Rough finish.

Soft gentle floral then fruit aromas with very mild smoke on the nose. Warm fruit, figs on the palate. Dry short finish.

Light rich floral notes on the nose. White pepper and some very soft peat on the palate. Soft, simple floral finish. This was a pleasant surprise. Previous expressions have scored in the high 50's, low 60s
