Century Reserve 15 Year Old Canadian Rye Whiskey, 40% abv
Surprising light soft rye notes on the nose followed by pleasant spices on palate. Overall a fresh, light, simple and pleasant wee dram. An apéritif.

I tasted this whisky using The Famous Grouse as a comparison standard ( the latter I rated as 60). I found the Famous Grouse to be mellower than the CC Clasic which had hints of honey and fennel with an unfortunate cloying resinous finish.
