Mint chocolate explodes on nose and is then followed most interestingly by wafts of light curry and possibly cardoman. Mouthfeel sensation is an After Eight Mint. Medium finish

Very pleassant candied nail polish on the nose, meant in a most positive way. A very well balanced dram with a light sweet rye mouthfeel. Well balanced.

Deep yet light with fruity, rye undertones and some spice on the nose. Velvety yet textured mouthfeel - an amazing experience. Gorgeous yet dangerous because it is so delicious.

Caribou Crossing Single Barrel, 40% abv
Rich and fresh sensation on the initial nosing followed by savoury vanilla notes - almost like a plate of fresh vegetables with a little spice. Thought I detected a hint of mint at the outset but could not find it again. The finish was dry, grassy with some spice. There was a wafting of dry grass smoke at one point.

Quite a surprise - not sure why. Light and tending toward sweet rye notes on the nose. Round with lively spices in the mouth. Vanilla and oak notes present. Soft spicy gentle finish. Well balanced. Good value.

Spicebox Spiced Whisky, 35% abv
At 35% this is not a "whisky". It is more like a whisky liqueur. Sweet vanilla and marshmallows dominate the nose and the palate. There was a hint of spice as well on the palate. Just screams at you to be poured over an Angel cake or added to a coffee or cup of tea. Made a good counterpoint to a cup of Darjeeling tea on a cool and wet afternoon. Something for a mixologist's toolkit.
