Forty Creek Copper Pot Reserve, 43% abv

Butterscotch dominates then menthol notes appear. Peppery bite with sweet spices on the palate. Complex rich syrup finish. Great V4$ at $29.

White pepper to start then pine forest aromas on the nose. Lovely spices, sweet almonds and fruit on the palate. Touch of candy on the finish.

Light sweet spices on the nose - very delicate. Faded soft rye notes on the palate. Gentle, almost to a fault. Simple.

Sweet oak with almonds and cherry vanilla notes on the nose. Delicious soft rye spices on the palate. An honour to Canadian history and whisky.

Forty Creek Confederation Oak, 40% abv

Sweet candied cherry oak on the nose. Spiced cherry rye on the palate. Well balanced; dry but rich + wee white pepper.

Caribou Crossing Single Barrel, 40% abv

Oaked cherry notes with mild spices on the nose. Smooth luscious mouthfeel. Soft cherries with spiced grasses on the palate. Delicious.

Urban Whisky, 40% abv

Campari, expresso, pepper, vanilla. At room temperature and bottle strength I scored it 54 but the addition of ice tempers the excessively resinous taste of over-aging. This bottle come as a "new make in a bottle" with a piece of oak which added to "age" the whisky. Two years aging by this process is obviously excessive.
